We’ve all had that feeling of impending doom and uncertainty when the clock ticks away seconds and we’re no where near our destination. I don’t know about you, but as much as I try to be five, ten minutes early I’m always cut it close. Always remember (or forget) something just as I walk out the door, inevitably turning back losing precious time. Mine is not an organized mind.
This week, in the spirit of actually being late, missing Friday for this week’s prompt, we are going to tasks ourselves to write a story about being late and its consequences. What wave of events will wash out for missing your deadline?
I’m extending the deadline until Friday morning. Don’t be late!
Prompt: The aftermath of being late. Late. Late!
Genre: Open
Word Count: 1000 words
Deadline: Friday, August 5, 2011, 9 am EST
